General Surgeons Need to be Aware of How Peritoneal Mesothelioma Presents

A group of doctors examining case reports found that peritoneal mesothelioma is frequently misdiagnosed due to its comparative rarity. In one case study, they found that a 49-year-old man had a three-month history of weight loss, anorexia, abdominal distension, and general signs of cachexia and ascites on his second visit to the hospital.
