Cuboidal Metaplasia
Cuboidal Metaplasia is considered a precursor to nasal cancer.
This typically refers to an abnormal growth or transformation of cells in the sinonasal cavity which may be indicative of Sinonasal Adenocarcinoma. These cells are not considered tumors at the time of detection, but they should be addressed immediately.
In the early stages of Sinonasal cancer, symptoms may include nasal obstructions, nosebleeds, discharge, and upper tooth pain. If these symptoms are persistent, you should contact your physician immediately. Early diagnosis and treatment in cases of Sinonasal cancer is imperative to a good prognosis.
Nasal cancer treatments can be very expensive and pose serious financial difficulties for patients and their families. Those who are diagnosed with the disease as a consequence of occupational wood dust or metals exposure may be eligible to recover their damages including medical costs, pain and suffering, and more.
