The Fort Worth Police Department is seeking help from the public after a man in a motorized scooter was killed trying to cross an Interstate 35W access road on Feb. 17, 2018.

Arthur Young, 74, was killed at approximately 2:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of I-35W in the northbound access road, according to Fort Worth PD spokesperson Daniel Segura. The vehicle that stuck Young fled the scene.
Young was transported by ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6 a.m.
Police said Young lived on the other side of the interstate.
Segura said the vehicle that allegedly struck Young may be a dark-colored pickup truck. He said police are still searching for information regarding the crash, and asked anyone who may know anything to call the Crime Stoppers line at 817-469-8477.
