The Dana Point Yacht Club in Los Angeles, California will kick off the Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling with a Breakaway from Cancer Night on April 30. Festivities will include food, drinks, entertainment, and a silent auction, with all proceeds benefiting Amgen’s Breakaway from Cancer and the Pacific Meso Center (PMC) at Pacific Heart, Lung & Blood Institute in Los Angeles.
Following the event on Sunday, May 1, the Dana Point Grand Prix of Cycling begins at 7:00 am. All are welcome to participate: mesothelioma and other cancer victims, survivors, family and friends, caregivers and anyone who wants to join the fight against cancer can join the race through Dana Point, overlooking the spectacular Pacific Ocean.
